March 9th 2020

With the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus, some manufacturers in Asia and throughout the globe are impacted. We would like to update you on our production and supply chain.

We are currently taking all measures to mitigate the risk of our production capacity in our manufacturing plants in Taiwan:

  • Raw materials
    • We have increased our raw material inventory and will continue to do so, until the outbreak subsides.
    • We have secured several backup resources for commonly used raw materials, in case there are any issues that may arise with the supplies.
  • Production personnel
    • Health and safety for our employees are paramount. We make certain everyone in the company gets their body temperature measured twice a day, and ensure hand sanitizers are accessible to all staff.
    • During this time period, all travels to Coronavirus affected countries and specific “Hot Zone” regions are restricted to all employees.
  • Production lines
    • We manufacture 80% of our products in one manufacturing plant and 20% in our 2nd plant in Taiwan. If one plant is impacted, the contingency plan is to move the production to the unaffected plant, to maintain production output.
    • An effort is also in place to increase stock level of our top selling products in our CA distribution center.
